Colin Allen
Director of Student Experience, Faculty of Business, University of Greenwich

Colin Allen is a former Royal Navy officer who made a career change to academia on the basis that is seemed much safer than having people make determined efforts to kill him. Colin Allen is the Director of Student Experience in the Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich. As part of that role, he investigates several hundred academic misconduct cases each year, using Originality to investigate allegations that work has been ghost-written; to date, every case in which it has been used has resulted in the student admitting that they bought or “borrowed” the work when faced with the evidence.
