This self-assessment enables students to evaluate their understanding of the factors that contribute to a source's credibility. It may be implemented before and/or after direct instruction as a formative or summative assessment. This version (Option B) offers an open-ended, performance-based approach (also allowing for the educator to provide a source to be evaluated or for the students to select their source), while the Source credibility self-assessment - Multiple choice (Option A) provides a multiple-choice structure to evaluating student understanding.
