In this one-hour session, we will review the difference between plagiarism and similarity, the main causes of plagiarism, the most frequent modalities of non-original work and some recommendations to prevent plagiarism. We will also show how to interpret a similarity report to determine if a document contains plagiarism.
Interpretation of Similarity Report and Use of Feedback Tools
In this session we will review how to use key elements of Turnitin Feedback Studio, specifically, general written and voice comments, rubrics, QuickMarks (or quick tags) and PeerMark (or peer evaluation) to strengthen original writing skills and promote autonomy in the learning process.

In this session, we will review how to generate and interpret account statistics and review best practices for maximizing Turnitin license use.
