What Is Real? Teaching Students How to Evaluate the Credibility of Sources

With the rise of fake news and internet sites, information and media literacy is an essential skill for the twenty-first-century learner. Get tips and classroom-ready resources to help students:

  1. Understand the importance of choosing credible sources
  2. Think critically about digital and print content

If you have an Internet-connected device, please bring it to the session. Remember to add this session to your itinerary in the official NCTE iOS / Android app!

Note: this session will take place in the Johnson Room on the first floor of the Hilton Conference Center. You can either cross Howard Street at ground level or take the Skywalk from the 3rd Floor of the Baltimore Convention Center.
