With roughly one-third of the Corona-Norco Unified School District opting for 100% virtual instruction for the 2020-2021 school year, the district adopted an online curriculum platform to serve students and instructors working in a virtual environment.
Amy Dell, a psychology instructor for Corona-Norco, immediately had to find new and innovative ways to instruct, provide feedback, and connect with her students in a fully digital world. As she shifted her curriculum online and into the district’s chosen platform, it became clear that reviewing student work remotely could pose a unique challenge. “Being 100% online this year meant it was harder than normal to set my expectations for academic integrity and originality,” says Dell.
