Help Center: Writing a Review in PeerMark as an Instructor
The instructor is able to write a review to supplement those that students will receive from their peers. The instructor is provided with the same free response and scale question structure as the students.
How to write a Peer Review for an assigned paper
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the PeerMark assignment
3. Click on the "More Actions" link and select "Write instructor review" next to the student whose paper you would like to review
PeerMark will open. All the questions in this review are located on the right side of the PeerMark screen.
4. To answer a free response question, type your answer in the text box provided below the question. The minimum word count is located directly below the text box
5. To answer a scale question click the radio button above the number for the rating you are giving this paper for the question
6. Click on the "Submit" button when you are completed with the review. If you would like to save your progress so you can leave and work on the review at a later time click on the "Save" button
Additional Information
- Instructors can comment directly on the paper in PeerMark. For information on the PeerMark commenting tools, please view our article on adding comments to a paper in PeerMark.
- Peer Reviews can be saved and closed for later completion by clicking the Save button at the top right of the PeerMark screen.
