Help Center: How PeerMark Distributes Papers
An instructor may edit how many papers PeerMark distributes to their students by clicking on the Edit link before altering the number of papers the students will review. The default is to have 1 "Paper automatically distributed by PeerMark." The three review options an instructor can edit are: "Paper(s) automatically distributed by PeerMark," "Paper(s) selected by the student," and "Require self-review."
"Papers automatically distributed by PeerMark" may be a randomly chosen paper by the PeerMark system or a selected paper an instructor has chosen for the student to review. The instructor may select a student pair for review within the "Show more distribution" options.
"Paper(s) selected by the student" are the number of papers a student must choose from a list of all available papers within the pool of papers submitted to the base assignment.
If the "Require self review" option is selected, students will be required to write a review on their own paper after they complete all other assigned reviews.
