Help Center: Exporting and Importing QuickMarkSM Editing Marks in GradeMark®
A QuickMark is a standard mark that is reused on student papers and can be tracked through the statistics tool in GradeMark. GradeMark comes with four QuickMark sets for standard editing. Instructors and administrators can create additional QuickMark editing marks and QuickMark sets for their own use that can then be shared with other instructors. To share a QuickMark set it must first be exported from the QuickMark library.
How to export a QuickMark set
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click "Tools"
5. Click "QuickMark Library"
6. Click on the QuickMark set you would like to export
7. Click on the Export button
8. A prompt will appear asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the QuickMark set file to a place of your choosing.The file will be in .csv format
How to import a QuickMark set
To import a QuickMark set, the set that is being imported must have been exported from the QuickMark library in the .csv format.
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click "Tools"
5. Click "QuickMark Library"
6. Click on the Import button
7. A prompt will appear. To browse for the QuickMark set you would like to import on your computer click on the Browse button. Once you find the file you would like to import, click on the Import button to import the QuickMark set into your QuickMark library

- To ensure that all marks added to a paper are saved, instructors must click save at the top of the GradeMark paper before closing the paper.
- GradeMark is only available for use by instructors in accounts which have purchased the GradeMark module. If you are interested in purchasing GradeMark, please contact your Turnitin sales representative.
