Help Center: "Expired" Classes

When an instructor creates a class in Turnitin, he or she sets an end date for the class. When this end date is reached the class automatically becomes archived and is listed as "expired" in the instructor's class list, the account instructor list and the student's class list.

1. Log in to Turnitin as the account administrator and click the instructors icon to the right of the account name.

Under the status column, says expired next to the class ID number

2. View the "expired" class status to the right of the class name in the instructor list.

1. On the instructor homepage click on the expired classes tab to view all expired classes.

Additional Information

  • The "expired" status applies only to the individual class. Instructor user profiles do not expire.
  • Instructors can reinstate expired classes using the update icon to the right of the class name on their Turnitin instructor homepage.
