Help Center: Removing Papers from an Assignment Inbox

Only the instructor of a class can remove a paper from an assignment inbox. Removing a paper will allow a student to resubmit to the assignment. The paper can be removed using the delete button in the inbox.

How to remove a paper from an assignment inbox

The class name link on the instructor homepage

1. Click on the class name

The View link to the right of the assignment name

2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name

The check box next to the papers

3. Select the box next to the paper or papers you would like to remove

The delete button above the authors name

4. Click the delete button at the top of the list of papers.

5. Click OK to confirm the removal.

Additional Information

  • Removing a paper from an assignment inbox will not remove the paper from the student paper database. Requests to remove papers from the database must be submitted to the Turnitin help desk by the institution's Turnitin account administrator.
