Help Center: Deleting Assignments
Instructors have the option of deleting assignments from their classes. This can be done using the delete assignment tool on the class home page.
How to delete an assignment
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "More actions" link to the right of the assignment name and select "Delete assignment"
3. Click ok to confirm the deletion
Additional Information
- Instructors and students will lose access to all the papers that were submitted to the assignment once an assignment has been deleted.
- Once an assignment has been deleted it can only be reinstated by the Turnitin Help Desk at the request of the class instructor.
- Deleting an assignment will not remove the papers submitted to the assignment from the student paper database.
- Only the class instructor can delete an assignment from a class.
