Help Center: Adding Inline comments to a Paper in GradeMark
Instructors can use GradeMark to add inline comments in students' submissions. Adding inline comments to a paper in GradeMark is as easy as clicking where you would like to add the mark and entering your comment. The mark appears directly on the paper when your student views his or her graded paper.
How to add an inline comment to a paper
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Select the "Type" tool from the comment type drop down menu
5. Choose the color for your inline text
6. Click on the paper where you would like to add a comment, the inline text box will appear
7. Type your comment
8. Click somewhere else on the paper that is not inside the inline text box

- Inline comments can be deleted by clicking on the comment, and then clicking the trashcan icon that appears to the left of the inline comment.
- To ensure that all marks added to a paper are saved, instructors must click the save icon at the top of the GradeMark paper before closing the paper.
