Help Center: Adding grades to papers in GradeMark®
Instructors using the GradeMark and GradeBook features can enter grades to papers in GradeMark using the "Grade" field.
How to grade a paper in GradeMark
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click the edit button next to the "Grade:" field
5. Enter a number value for the paper in the empty text field and click save
6. The grade will now be displayed on the paper
Additional Links
- If the "Grade" field does not appear for a paper in GradeMark it is an indication that either GradeBook has not been turned on for the account or no point value was entered for the assignment when the instructor created the assignment.
- To ensure that the grade and all the marks added to a paper are saved, the instructor must click the save icon at the top of the GradeMark paper before closing the paper.
- All grades entered must be whole number values.
