Help Center: Adding Comments to the Clipboard
Instructors can add commonly used comments to the clipboard to reuse when grading student papers. Comments can be added to the clipboard library in two ways: from the comment window or from the clipboard library.
Adding a comment to the clipboard from within the comment window
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click inside the paper to open the comment window
5. Enter the text of your comment in the comment field
6. Click on the add to clipboard button on the bottom right of the comment window
7. A text field will open, give the comment a title within the text box and click save. The comment will now be added to the clipboard
Adding a comment to the clipboard from the clipboard library
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click "Tools"
5. Click Clipboard Library
6. Within the Clipboard Library window click on the New button
7.Give the new comment a title and write the comment in the text fields provided. Click save to save the comment to the clipboard.
Adding a comment from the clipboard to a paper
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click inside the paper to open the comment window
5. If necessary, click on the double arrow icon at the top right of the comment window to expand the window and view the clipboard
6. Placing the cursor over the comments title in the clipboard list will reveal the full text of the comment. Click on the comment title you would like to add to the paper. The comment will be placed within the text box, click save to apply the comment to the paper

- To ensure that all marks added to a paper are saved, instructors must click the save icon on the toolbar of the GradeMark paper before closing the paper.
