Help Center: Adding QuickMarkSM Editing Marks to a Paper in GradeMark®
Instructors can use GradeMark to add comments, marks, and rubrics to students' submissions. A QuickMark is a standard editing mark that is reused on student paper and that can be tracked through the statistics tool in GradeMark. GradeMark comes with four QuickMark sets for standard editing. Instructors and administrators can create additional QuickMark editing marks and QuickMark sets for their own use. Once you have started, adding QuickMark editing marks to a GradeMark paper is as easy as clicking the mark in your QuickMark palette, and placing the mark on the paper.
How to add a QuickMark editing mark to a paper
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "View" link to the right of the assignment name
3. Click on the GradeMark icon for a paper
4. Click "Tools"
5. Click "QuickMark Palette"
6. Click the maximize tool to expand the QuickMark set containing the QuickMark editing marks you would like to use
7. Click the QuickMark editing mark you would like to add to the paper
8. Click on the paper where you would like to add the QuickMark symbol

- To ensure that all marks added to a paper are saved, instructors must click the save icon at the top of the GradeMark paper before closing the paper.
- GradeMark is only available for use by instructors in accounts which have purchased the GradeMark module. If you are interested in purchasing GradeMark, please contact your Turnitin sales representative.
