Help Center: Setting the ability for students to view Originality Reports
The ability for students to view Originality Reports is set on an assignment to assignment basis. This option is in the advanced assignment options and can be changed between allowing students to view their Originality Reports or not any time by simply selecting yes or no from the Allow student to see Originality Reports option.
Allowing or Disallowing Student Ability to View Originality Reports
1. Click on the class name
2. Click the create a new assignment link
3. Click on the more options link to view the advanced assignment options
4. Select yes from the "Allow students to see Originality Reports?" option to allow students to view their Originality Report. The default is to not allow students to view Originality Reports
If an assignment has already been created, the allow students to view Originality Reports option can be modified at any time.
Adjusting the Allow student to view Originality Report Option for an Assignment
1. Click on the class name
2. Click on the "More actions" link to the right of the assignment name and select "Edit settings"
3. Click on the more options link to view the advanced assignment options
4. Select yes or no from the "Allow student to see Originality Reports?" option to allow or prevent students from viewing their Originality Report.
Additional Information
- Students will only be able to view Originality Reports for the papers they have submitted. Only the class instructor can view the Originality Reports for all of the students in the class.
