Creating "Draft" Assignments
When creating an assignment, instructors have the option setting the assignment to be a "draft" assignment. Draft assignments do not generate Originality Reports and are not entered into the student paper database.
How to create a "draft" assignment
| 1. Click on the class name | ![]() |
| 2. Click on the "create an new assignment" link | ![]() |
| 3. Enter a name for the assignment | ![]() |
| 4. Set the assignment dates and times using the date pull down menus | ![]() |
| 5. Select "no, this is a 'draft' assignment" from the "Generate Originality Reports for submissions?" pull down menu | ![]() |
| 6. Click submit to create the assignment | ![]() |
Additional information and related links
- A dash will appear in the assignment inbox the place of an Originality Report for draft assignments.
